no study group?

I think that a student website needs to be started so we can see what other students are registered for our same classes then we could purchase a couple of these rediculously priced packets and make multiple copies. $43 dollars!!! give me a break.

$43 dollars for a packet of paper? Does anyone else find that to be a bit ridiculous a price? Especially seeing as there was a similar book of hers, larger, (for another class) priced at only about $14?

Cultural Relativism

Hey everybody, glad to see some people signed up for this.

My question to you all...Does anybody actually agree with cultural relativism?

The more I think about it the more I agree with it. Even though it is flawed in some ways,
I think it has a lot of merit in how we deal with ethical issues...What is right or wrong to us does
not necessarily mean it is right or wrong to another country or culture, and ultimately I think the
People (culture) dictate what is right and wrong, not others outside it.

Anyways, just curious if there was anyone else who agrees, disagrees, or any thoughts/arguments on the subject :D
